Dead Before Dawn had an awesomely cheesy late 80’s/early 90’s vibe right from the start that carried the fun all the way to the very end. I’m a sucker for 80’s cheese (hell yeah gimme some cheddar), so throw in some zombies and it’s like crack for me. I had a good time watching this.
Pit a group of mobile young adults and not-so-mobile elderly against the classic slow-walking undead. The makeup, gore and special effects aren’t ground-breaking, but they’re absolutely solid and pretty damn good on occasion.

This is the kind of movie that really freshens up an entire genre. It is based on a novel that shares the same name and is a Romeo and Juliet relationship. The movie is a pleasant surprise and is enjoyable. It is a great date movie!
An American made zombie romp, the premise is the typical kids go into the woods to have a good weekend and things go south. The greatest thing about this movie is the zombies and their resemblance to "The Last of Us" infected.
